I have over 28 years of Military and Federal Law Enforcement experience with over 20 years providing firearms, defensive tactics, use of force, and tactical instruction.

Specializing in basic instruction for first-time shooters with basic Maryland Wear and Carry Classes. Additional advanced Wear and Carry classes are available. All classes include scenario-based training in real-world situations.
Providing residential security assessments, starting with perimeter security, alarm systems, points of entry and egress, and weapons storage. Plans of action for possible residential security concerns, including all family members, and assessment of the interior structure. Scenario-based training to solidify assessment and plans of action.
I recently became certified by SABRE as a Personal Safey Instructor. This allows me to present personal saftrey instruction apporved by SABRE relating to individual safety techniques, self defense, and the use of self defense sprays, to inlcude Pepper Spray and CS Tear gas/Pepper Sprays. I found this to be a favorite intermediate defense weapon and effective alternative to deadly force when deadly force is not warranted.

I have maintained a security clearance for over 28 years and understand the importance of privacy and discretion. When someone decides to assess their security and seek training they should do so with attainable goals. Training should center around probable threats and reasonable goals.

I was a certified Federal Law Enforcement Firearms, Defensive Tactics, and Tactical Instructor for 18 years. I am a current certified NRA Law Enforcement Instructor and currently certified by the State of Maryland as a Certified Firearms Instructor. I regularly participate in USPSA, IDPA, and 2-gun competitions.
